Abstract :
A compact multichip module (20.4×20.4 mm2) providing two major receiver functions (reshaping and retiming) has been developed for 10 Gbit/s lightwave receivers. The variable gain from +11 to +31 dB, the bandwidth of 7.3 GHz, and the sensitivity of -14.5 dBm have all confirmed the applicability of the MCM to 10 Gbit/s lightwave receivers
