Abstract :
Efficient CW operation of a single mode Nd:MgO:LiNbO3 channel waveguide laser is reported. The absorbed pump power at threshold is 2.7 mW and the slope efficiency is 34%. With the available pump power the laser could emit up to 14 mW CW without exhibiting any photorefractive damage.
