  • Abstract
    An automatic picking system was designed for the production of yam by assembly line. The mechanical parts of the system using for conveying and picking yam was designed to a conveyor chain, the detecting parts using for detecting the length level and the weight value of the yam was designed to photoelectric sensors and weighting sensors, the control system for the automatic control of the whole picking process was designed to a single-chip microcomputer. In order to realize the more efficient and reliable work, picking theory methods and principle of control system suitable for the system were designed.
