Abstract :
According to the raising amount of elevator, there is a need to install an elevator remote monitoring system to the running elevators to prevent the accident from happening. The key to this system is the interconnection of the elevator CAN bus and the Ethernet, to solving the problem this paper proposes a high performance and low-cost solution about the design of the interconnection gateway. At first, the overall system architecture and hardware is presented respectively, then software design is detailed, focusing on developing and transplanting embedded uIP protocol stack to the system. Finally, this paper implements interconnection gateway of the CAN bus and the Ethernet by taking LPC2368 as microprocessor and DP83848C Ethernet controller chip as the core, provides a feasible solution for the interconnection of the industrial fieldbus and the Ethernet.
