Abstract :
An approximate method for calculating the far field due to the interaction between two coaxial spheroids is described. The far field is obtained by the superposition of this interaction field and the exact field scattered by the spheroids separately. The results for the cross-sections are reasonably accurate, and the computational time is much less.
