Abstract :
An improved FDTD formulation is presented in order to simulate superconducting planar transmission lines of arbitrary thickness. These structures are usually analysed with a nonuniform mesh, which is very time consuming. The authors define a geometrical factor that accurately accounts for arbitrarily thick superconducting films, with no mesh in the strip cross-section
