Effect of urban environment on propagation of medium waves

Proposed is a correction in the model adopted by Recommendation P.368-9 to consider the effect of the urban environment on the propagation of medium waves. The proposed method uses information of the area occupied by buildings to represent the city, and was developed based on measurements made in São Paulo, Brazil. It was tested through comparisons with measurements made in São Paulo and Brasĩlia, Brazil.
