Message from the President

Canadian learned institutions are experiencing difficult times. Not only are our learned societies suffering the economic malaise afflicting every enterprise in this country, they are also in direct competition with our much richer neighbours to the south. The Canadian Society for Electrical Engineering has carried the added burden of serving the infinitely divergent interests of professionals in a field that has been most affected by the technological explosion.
