Home communications III: Videotext standards: International experts are hard at work defining standards to interface new services with divergent systems

Eight international organizations are negotiating new international standards for transmitting data from computer banks to home TV receivers. Two general objectives are common to these discussions: facilitation of the international exchange of data and agreement on TV standards that would lead to production of a universal receiver.
