Abstract :
Low-distortion 1.3 μm DFB lasers operating from -40 to 85°C without any coolers are demonstrated. Extremely low threshold current of 17 mA at 85°C is obtained. The lasers also realise low distortion <-50 dBc at 65°C in 78-channel CSO measurements
