IEEE Student Branch profile: Out of Africa

Cape Town is no stranger to grandiose views and modern development. After all, the City Bowl area is the only place in the world to view a devil and a lion seated across a table from one another—Devil´s Peak to the east and Lion´s Head to the west are set apart by the two miles of leveled plateau known as Table Mountain. This mountainous cradle is both a physically and metaphorically striking snapshot. The Devil, signifying chaos, darkness, and ego, balanced on a scale with the authority, wisdom, and courage of the lion.
