Abstract :
Banking´s history goes back hundreds of years. Computers were introduced 40 years ago. In that short space of time, the finance world has become technology-dependent and is now becoming technology-enabled. From ´paper´ factories, international switching centres to electronic money, this article looks at the demanding and rewarding opportunities for professionals with technology skills.
