Abstract :
Three new, simple CMOS floating resistors each using only four transistors and two current sources are proposed. The circuits exploit the square-law characteristics of an MOS transistor operated in the saturation region and the resistance can be controlled either by current or by voltage. The implementation of nth order lowpass ladder filters using the proposed resistors is presented.
