Abstract :
CME, Leadership, Integrity, Professionalism and Respect are words that are “confused” with the daily life of the Company, and values which favor a strong presence in the market of engineering design, construction, operation of facilities and infrastructure, and also, the training activity. The implementation of Live Line Maintenance in the CME Group began in 1989 covering both overhead and underground low voltage networks in the city of Lisbon, evolving afterwards to higher voltage levels. CME has a Training Center, located in the center of Portugal, which has unique facilities deployed in an area of 15,000 m2, able to train crews from low level tensions up to very high tension. This article intends to explain the facilities of the training center, and how we select and train our live line crews.
