  • Abstract
    Several configurations of compact 1.48 mu m diode-pumped superfluorescent erbium-doped fibre sources are analysed. An output power of over 16 mW and a conversion efficiency greater than 50%, have been obtained with a spectral bandwidth of 20 nm.
