Abstract :
An efficient method is derived in this paper to obviate the integral involved in the performance analysis of the minimum mean square error (MMSE) detector for direct-sequence code-division multiple-access (DS/CDMA) systems in fading environments. The new method is shown to significantly reduce the necessary computational load for the performance analysis of the MMSE detector. We then examine the behavior of the MMSE detector in flat Nakagami fading channels
