Abstract :
An extended mode-based analysis for near-field coupled antennas is proposed. Based on this analysis, a method for estimating 3 dB bandwidth of near-field communication (NFC) systems with non-identical electrically small antennas is also proposed. The estimated results are in good agreement with the results from a full EM simulation.
