Adieu

With this issue I end my two-year term of office as Editor and pass the Journal on to my colleague, Professor A nastasios Venetsanopoulos. It has been a privilege to have been involved in this activity, which has been rewarding, enjoyable, sometimes frustrating, always interesting, and highly educational in a variety of ways. I cannot express my feelings better than my predecessor, George Ho lb rook, who referred to his term of office in his farewell message by saying it was an experience that he would not have missed for anything, but also one that he would not want to experience again.
