  • Abstract
    The array factor analysis of a planar phased array fed with a scalar horn is described. The effect of quantization and collimation phase errors on the space factor of the array is studied and it is noted that the collimation phase error of space-fed arrays can be utilized to reduce the sidelobe levels considerably. Further, a simple and computationally efficient analysis for the array factor of space-fed rectangular arrays is described.
