A field theoretical model for single layer ACSR

This paper critically examines various aspects of the performance of single layer ACSR, especially the difficulties associated with analyzing electrical performance. A simplified model for obtaining a.c. resistance is proposed in the form of a solution algorithm. Computed results are checked against direct experimental measurements and indicate satisfactory agreement.
