Abstract :
In this contribution a simulation model and operation strategies to analyse the performance of storages with limited capacity supplying Primary Control Reserve are presented. It is shown that the combination of an industrial plant with an energy storage is one possibility for a reliable frequency regulation. By making use of novel operation strategies the impact on the industrial plant can be kept comparable low.
