Message from the editor

I have just completed my first year in office. The experience has been quite interesting and challenging, particularly in trying to get a paper reviewed and convey a decision as early as possible. We are aiming at giving a decision to the authors within three months. I thank the numerous reviewers and the dedicated team of Associate Editors, who have helped me to keep up the good standing that our journal enjoys in Canada and all over the world. On behalf of the Editorial Board, I wish all our readers a Happy New Year 1987.
