Comments on "A new reciprocity theorem" [with reply]

For the original paper see ibid., vol. 44, no. 1, p. 10-14 (1996). One of the commenters points out that the reciprocity theorem reported in the aforementioned paper is not new. Other commenters show that the result can be derived very easily using a standard identity, thus eliminating the lengthy analysis originally presented. They also point out an error. In reply the author responds to the comments made.
