Abstract :
Presented are computer simulation results of a signalling protocol included in the AMPS system of AT&T in Chicago. In addition to signaling, the authors consider a hybrid voice channel assignment scheme with a blocked-calls-held queueing discipline for the voice channels. The system performance in terms of various system measures is evaluated.
