Abstract :
As the menace of Internet security threats looms ever larger, enterprise networks are having to divert more time and resource at combating them. All the research agrees: the problem is getting worse, month-onmonth, year-on-year. The potential damage to business processes that a virus or worm can wreak has intensified far beyond localised disruption. And a reputation for lax IT security can affect a company??s status on stock markets, and deter partners from wanting to work with it.
