Suppression of multiple access interference in a DS-CDMA system using Wiener filtering and parallel cancellation

The author compares two methods of reducing the multiple access interference in a code division multiple access communications system. It is shown that Wiener filtering gives better performance than a single stage of parallel cancellation and that the two techniques can be combined to give better performance than either technique in isolation
