Abstract :
The factors that determine the probability of successful mobile communication, assuming an ideal system, are examined. Measures of successful message reception are explained. The problem of determining, for real-world radio communications operating at threshold conditions, the system relationships between the input and output signal-to-noise ratios for classic receiving systems is addressed.<>
