            Abstract : 
A 4×4 photonic ATM switch at bit rates of 2.5 and 10 Gbit/s is demonstrated. The proposed switch is a broadcast-and-select network type switch with FDM output buffers. The dynamic routing power penalty was evaluated by using the Q factor at a very low bit error rate of 10 -15
