Abstract :
The authors have fabricated an As2S3-based fibre Bragg grating for 1.55 μm wavelength operation by the transverse holographic method using an He-Ne laser. A reflectivity of >90% was obtained at wavelengths around 1.55 μm. The grating has potential application in the dispersion compensation of As2S 3
