Abstract :
The 14th International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Electromagnetic Theory took place in Kharkiv, Ukraine, on August 28–30, 2012. The three-day technical pro gram covered the state-of-the-art and current trends in the modeling and simulation of electromagnetic phenomena, including wave propagation, radiation, emission, scattering, guidance, processing, etc. Both the traditional and the hottest new topics and applications of computational electromagnetics were covered, including terahertz wave effects and graphene-based devices, plasmon-assisted optical nanoantennas and scattering, metamaterials, and hybrid classical and quantum electromagnetics models.
