Abstract :
Close-in sidelobe suppression was attained in low-loss SAW filters with single-phase unidirectional transducers (SPUDTs), by Dolph-Chebyshev weighting of the SPUDT rungs. Two such structures electrically cascaded in a 1.5% bandwidth filter yielded an overall 70 dB sidelobe level, with an insertion loss of only 8.5 dB
