Abstract :
A compact and simple ultra-wideband bandpass filter is presented. The scattering parameters and group delay of the proposed filter are predicted with three different software packages, namely CST MWS, Agilent momentum ADS and HFSS. The measured results show acceptable agreement with the predicted ones. Small size (11.7 mm), low group delay variation (0.12 ns), low transient distortion (a correlation factor of 0.987 between input and output signals) and wide upper stopband (12.8 24 GHz) are some specific advantages of this filter.
