Abstract :
The next generation of social networks-social life networks (SLNs)-could become a powerful force for individual well-being and economic growth. In particular, SNLs in emerging economies could provide timely access to essential resources such as healthcare, transportation, education, and water. The authors outline requirements for SLNs and the challenges of realizing these next-gen social networks.
