Abstract :
A dual estimator-based compensation scheme for the dead time and inverter nonlinearity unaffected by parameter variations in an inverter-fed permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive is presented. Using the proposed scheme, the disturbance voltage caused by the dead time and nonlinearity can be effectively estimated even in the presence of parameter variations without any additional circuits or the disadvantages existing in the conventional methods. The effectiveness is verified through the simulations and experimental results.
