Abstract :
This article has discussed the theoretical and modeling aspects of the RP_CC schemes in detail. There are several combinations of CC algorithms that have been vastly investigated, tested, and validated for the performance of HSDPA network. The simulation results confirm that the combined usage of RP_CC algorithms can achieve a significantly better overall performance for the HSDPA network compared with other configurations. Such combined CC mechanisms can optimize the effective link utilization by minimizing the higher layer retransmissions and can also achieve high end-user throughputs.
