Abstract
The recently completed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport was the largest air base to commercial airport conversion during the years 1980-2000. It presented an ideal opportunity to modernize air traffic control facilities and equipment. Highlights of the upgraded functionality, transition problems encountered, and three phase cutover are provided
