Abstract :
In order to relive the burden of nursing care and help a handicapped person to be more independent, we have been developing “an Independence Support System”, which can assist uprising and walking motion from lying on a bed. In this paper, we report the concept and mechanism of the system, and evaluation of reduction of burden by physical work.
