Abstract
The authors report measured losses of Ti:LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide S-shaped bends designated by using sine, cosine-generated curves, two arcs, and two arcs with a connecting straight guide. Experimental results confirm that the cosine-generated curve provides the best performance.<>
