Abstract :
The paper presents the basic principle of Class E converter circuit, analytical expressions for circuit design, and circuit experiments´ results of 1MHz operating frequency with 12V DC supply voltage. The performance of Class E converter circuit with different parameters has been investigated. Circuit experiments have been carried out to validate the analytical expressions. From the results, the proper zero-voltage switching (ZVS) occurred. Therefore, higher load voltage can be achieved due to less switching losses.
