Abstract :
The impact of phase-induced-intensity-noise (PIIN) as a limiting noise contribution in optical MM-wave transmission systems is investigated. At a MM-wave frequency of 40 GHz, the overall noise power has been measured and analysed. The experimental data are in good agreement with theoretical results
