  • Abstract
    This paper considers an age replacement problem of a unit with 2 failure modes, in which it is replaced at any failure or age t0, whichever occurs first. The optimum policy minimizing thes-expected cost rate is given by some modifications of the already-known results in an usual replacement problem.
