Abstract :
This paper develops a formula for converting the expression for time-specific probability of system success into time-specific frequency of system failure. This conversion rule is then used to derive an expression for time-specific frequency of system failure using the tie-set approach. The calculation of interval frequency from time-specific frequency is also presented.
