Abstract :
This paper considers a 2-(i.i.d.)-unit cold standby redundant system with slow switch under the assumption that all distributions are arbitrary. We derive the Laplace-Stieltjes Transform of the first-passage time distributions, the s-expected number of visits to a certain state, the transition probabilities and the limiting probabilities by employing the Markov Renewal Processes technique.
