1-out-of-2:F Systems Exposed to a Damage Process

This paper presents 4 models with single and multiple repair facilities. The main system in these models has 2 subsystems connected in series and one subsystem is exposed to a damage process. In models 1 and 2, one subsystem has Erlang life-time and the concept of preventive maintenance is introduced. In models 3 and 4, one subsystem is 2-unit. Joint Laplace-Stieltjes transforms of up and down times and the moments are given for models 1 and 3 and the marginal repair time distributions are given for models 2 and 4. The main paper describes the models and a Supplement presents the results.
