Abstract :
The sixth and final course of the first year of medical school was immunology, microbiology, and pathology (IMP). As mentioned in my previous column, this course began immediately after spring break in mid-March and ended the first week of June, spanning 11 weeks in total. The course was essentially three separate courses combined into one (the first half was dedicated to immunology and pathology while the second half was dedicated to microbiology).
