Abstract :
A novel approach using the Y-matrix for analyzing voltage-flicker power flow is presented in this paper. Stochastic theory is incorporated with the power flow method to obtain the equivalent 10 Hz voltage fluctuation (ΔV10) at each bus. The proposed method helps examine the impact of voltage flicker sources (e.g. arc furnaces) on system voltages. Simulation and experimental results show the applicability of the proposed method
