A Prediction Interval in Life Testing: Weibull Distribution

This paper deals with the problem of predicting the s-th order statistic, given the r-th (r < s) order statistic in a sample of size N from a 2-parameter Weibull distribution. Two cases are considered: 1) N is a random variable, and 2) N is fixed. The prediction interval for case 1 is obtained in Section 2 of this paper whereas the one for case 2 is obtained in a separately-available Supplement.
