Abstract :
This paper considers a redundant system with replacement and repair under the assumptions that failure time and delayed replacement time are arbitrary. The formula for mean time to first system failure is obtained by using Markov Renewal Processes. The model is described in the paper while the analysis and results are available in a separate Supplement.
