Abstract :
Wide-band transformer design and shielding attenuation are covered in ten pages of application notes. The transformer discussion begins with the requirements for these devices, then explains the lumped element equivalent circuit for wide-band transformers. Measurements of ferrite transformer materials are then covered. Alternative core shapes for these transformers are discussed, and the significance of form factor is explained.
