  • Abstract
    This contribution identifies a time-variable ratio which is useful in the reliability theory of failed components. An integral equation is obtained for that fraction of the s-expected failed components (with instantaneous replacement) in (0, t), which are functioning for at least time z¿t. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to evaluate.
